Parks and Open Space

Carnation is a small city in a rich agricultural valley surrounded by forests, pastoral fields, rivers and mountains.  An abundance of open space and recreational lands exists within and adjacent to the city limits.  City-owned parks and open space comprise a total of 38 acres.   In addition to the city-owned parks, the community is fortunate to have more than 500 additional acres of parks, open space, and recreational facilities available in public ownership by King County, Riverview School District, and the State of Washington.
