Alley is Not a Dumping or Storage Area
Please be aware that per CMC 8.12.010 it is unlawful for any person or persons, be they individuals, corporations, partnerships, or tenants, to allow solid waste to accumulate upon any street, avenue, alley or other public place within the city upon which their premises abut.
These items must NOT be stored or left in the alleys:

Grass clippings and branches |
These should go in your yardwaste bins

Garbage |
Per CMC 8.12.080 solid waste service is compulsory (required) within City limits

|
Pet waste |
Per CMC 6.10.110: All manure and other refuse must be kept in tightly covered receptacles and disposed of in a manner approved by the animal control officer

|
Used furniture |
This should be disposed of at an approved landfill or transfer station
|
|
Construction debris |
This should be disposed of at an approved landfill or transfer station
|
|
Junk vehicles, boat trailers,watercraft, etc., unregistered or not |
Contact a salvage yard or donate to charity |
