Tolt Avenue CBD Improvements Project Construction in 2021

It’s been a long road to this point, but after many years of working on the Tolt Avenue Central Business District rebuild and design of State Highway 203, we’ve finally opened and awarded the contractor bid. The COVID-19 Pandemic and other design delays pushed us back, but we’re excited to begin construction in 2021.

The project is a partnership between the City, the State of Washington, and the Federal government. As with any multi agency project and funding, there are a lot of different regulations that come into effect. All of the rights-of-way and easements have been acquired. Meanwhile our Public Works crews have created the Off-Tolt Public Parking improvements to prevent disruptions once construction starts.
