High Density Development Regulations Public Workshop 05/30/2018
We hope you will join us on Wednesday, May 30th, at 7:00 PM for information and conversation about multi-family and mixed-use development in Carnation. The Planning Board is beginning work on amendments to our density and dimensional standards for these high-density zones, and would like to know the community's visual preferences early in the process. The types of development allowed in these zones include townhouses, apartments, condominiums, cottages, and some office/commercial uses. Carnation has not seen very much of these types of development before.
The workshop will include a slideshow with example images for a variety of these kinds of buildings, and attendees will be asked to "vote" on whether they would or would not like to see that type of design character in town. So please come to City Hall the evening of May 30th to share your opinion, and help guide the future for these new types of development that are coming to Carnation.
When: Wednesday, May 30, 2018, 7:00-9:00 PM
Where: Carnation City Hall, Council Chambers, 4621 Tolt Avenue
