24th Street Watermain

Project Name: 24th Watermain Relocation
Amount: $228,612.62

Project Description: Installation of a new 14” HDPE water main underneath Lotuis Creek using trenchless installation methods and abandonment of the parallel section of existing watermain and restoration of two existing residential water service lines along the south side of NE 24th St. The City’s current watermain is located on King County right of way. The County is starting a number of Fish Passage projects. Under the agreement between the County and City, the City would pay to relocate the watermain.


The City Council accepted the recommendation to bid and gave the award for this project to New X, Construction from Monroe, WA. Depending on supply, construction is estimated to begin in October.
